As we celebrate Black History Month, we chat with Meadow Park science teacher Cecily Capistran about what led her to pursue a career in the sciences.

This fall, the P.E. team at Meadow Park Middle School has been collecting athletic equipment donations to be distributed to students. Led by teacher Jennifer Hoffman, the school has assembled kits that include jump ropes, playground balls, resistance bands and more. In addition, an online curriculum has been developed to demonstrate how to stay active using the equipment. Take a look!
